The National Research Mapping Website is an interactive digital platform designed to visualize and centralize impactful research across Indonesia. It aggregates data from multiple domains—research activities, community service programs, downstream innovation efforts, scientific products, and laboratory facilities—to provide a comprehensive overview of the nation’s scientific landscape.

Through an intuitive map-based dashboard, users can explore research distribution down to the provincial and district levels. The system incorporates dynamic bubble clusters, filters, and advanced search features that make it easy for policymakers, researchers, and the general public to identify where research activities are concentrated and how they contribute to regional development.

One of the platform’s key capabilities is its integration with problem-based datasets, such as national stunting statistics from SSGI 2024. By overlaying research outputs with real-world issues, the website helps stakeholders align innovation priorities with pressing societal challenges. This approach supports evidence-based planning, encourages regional collaboration, and strengthens the link between research and public impact.

The platform offers a clean, responsive design that works seamlessly across devices, ensuring accessibility for users in various regions. Data visualizations, interactive map layers, and real-time updates help make complex information easier to understand and navigate. Users can also switch between province and district modes to gain deeper insight into local research dynamics.

By delivering a unified, data-driven view of Indonesia’s research ecosystem, the National Research Mapping Website serves as a strategic tool for strengthening national innovation capacity. It empowers stakeholders to make informed decisions, optimize resource allocation, and support scientific initiatives that generate long-term benefits for communities across the country.
